The Dark Student Council

“Wait, you can’t mean that you were Nanami Shigeru all along?”

“That’s just what I told you, Raynar.”

“B-but why are you telling this to me now!?”

“Well, you never asked, and I felt like telling it to you now.”

“Are you serious!?”

“No, it’s just that right now I don’t feel like we are watched. That girl who is around you all the time. She is not human, is she?”

“Aren’t you curious as to why I am not dead yet?”

“It’s fairly obvious, but aren’t you curious as to why my face and voice are different?”

“Let me guess, plastic surgery? Why go so far?”

“I didn’t want to be recognised by your Prime Minister.”

“Do you work for Blair?”

“Blair? Who? No, I work for you but from the future.”

“What does that even mean?”

“It will all make sense.”

“Hey, I don’t know what you two are talking about but it seems like we have some rude visitors.”

Just as Azaz-rya had said there were four figures approaching us from the tunnel in front of us.

“Princess Azaz-rya, you must immediately come back with us!”

It was a maid I knew, and there was only one maid which I knew although I didn’t know she counted as a real maid or even a real person.

“Rina?”

“You! What are you doing here! You shouldn’t be alive.”

Rina lunged at us to attack me but obviously I was not going to stand around, nor did I need to hide my power level in these circumstances since Nanashi already knew who I was.

I raised a barrier which blocked her attack.

Just to make sure I contacted Rina to make sure this was another entity.

“Yes, master. I can confirm the imposter in front of you is not one of my copies.”

My barrier was soon destroyed by what looked to be another imposter, and there was only one individual with white hair who could get through my barrier: Lain!

“I once considered you to be my father. Now, you must die!”

Nanashi and Azaz-rya did not stay put but instead blocked the oncoming attacks towards me from (not) Arthur and (not) Rina. I was not used to facing the level of hatred that I was shown by these imposters but I suppose as someone who plays with people’s lives from the shadows this was something I should have expected I would be at the receiving end of sooner or later. It didn’t matter, as long as I could live and strive for my freedom it didn’t matter who hated me.

Azaz-rya used her hair to block Arthur’s sword attack… Apparently she could control and grow it to any length she wanted to.

“Pick on someone your own size,” Azaz-rya told Arthur.

“We are trying to save you so why are you attacking us!?”

At this she pulled her tongue out.

“Because you won’t let me see my father of course.”

“He is already dead, or should be—”
