The Town of Angband

“How about we set up a new starter town on top of the Angband dungeon, master? Then you’d be able to set up a new mansion for yourself there.”

I see, the dungeon belongs to Populares now so that wouldn’t be an issue. And given that this was a dungeon that was created for new players to level up quickly, that checks out too. I hoped that Lain wouldn’t also try to pick a fight with Helena but if I wanted something decent then I needed her here. Unfortunately, I had no sense for visualising things so my builds were always tacky-looking.

Next, Lain teleported here to have a look at the site first-hand, even if she had been the one to design it in the first place she hadn’t done so with the idea of setting up a town here.

“But if there’s a new town then wouldn’t the players see you teleport anyway?” asked Lain.

She was correct. Lain thumped her chest.

“Don’t worry I’ll figure something out about that! The idea of building a town here is not fundamentally a bad one. Good job, Rina!”

Rina bowed slightly.

“Also, aren’t you all too trusting of her just because she is a little fox girl? What if she spies on us for the farmer or the saintess?”

The opening of the new town would be the day before the election, as a last propaganda piece in favour of the project, every vote counted and so the shilling shouldn’t be stopped till the last moment.
