Watching the latest season of Re;Zero kind of made me feel that the reason that I can’t enjoy it entirely is that it’s like reading notes from a very detailed TTRPG campaign. Clearly a lot of love and thought has gone into the story but it’s easy to get lost in the details. It’s like the author knows what the characters think and who they are and why they are important but I can’t say what the characters think much. I know it sounds vague.
Demon Lord 2099 is kind of getting boring. I mean I’ll watch the whole thing probably but now that the story has given away what’s actually going on I feel like it hasn’t left much to give except the demonlord MC steamrolling through enemies.
